JF will present his vision for the future of General Electric to investors in ten days. Honestly not sure what to expect with the way things are going. More GE spin-offs? More layoffs? Pretty sure both of those will be on the menu. What do you think our great leader will have in stock for us?

Divest Nuclear. They have absolutely no future. Like a terminally ill cancer patient.
Digital JV is a must. The current digital is not very solid. They can make ad after ad it isn’t going to make a difference. Looking for true leadership talent outside of the broken GE leadership programs. How about someone that successfully ran a company without the constant injection of funny money.
Cut dividend and layoffs are your only short cycle solutions to stockpile cash.
the vp of global supply chain of ge power sent out an email that stated they are closing ge power plants and if you want yours to stay open then we need to get better with production quality and cut cost. problem is no one gives a s*it any more and they all want a layoff
-bbr. If you are a GE employee, friend or employee of an employee, GE stock holder or on or will be on the pension you should care. If you are independently wealthy, wealthy with no friends then your statement applies.

Dividend cut by 25-30% + one-time special dividend payout
Divest - 1-2 Power P&Ls, 1-2 Healthcare P&Ls
Spin-off with equity stake - Transportation, Current & Lighting together (if not divested)
Reiterate core - Power, Healthcare, Aviation, BHGE (plan to buyout BH shareholders within X years)
