Feels like GTech is finally showing its truly colors and are slowly letting all of the legacy IGT employees go. It also feels like they are planning to eventually close the Las Vegas office as they have had three unexpected rounds of lay offs the last three quarters, and always departments in their entirety. Another interesting dynamic is how upper management is slowly becoming less accessible and engaged, all indicators that your days are numbered. No plan for the future has been seen, and the consensus sentiment is that the LV office is done for.

The writing is on the walls. Vegas office will shut down soon.

Employee morale has been in the toilet for years. It all started when Patti took over in 2012. Benefits cut, company events cut, massive rounds of layoffs, constant expansion of upper ranks leading to dilution of employee shares, and on and on and on.
A whole team was let go!
I'll say it again...a whole team was let go!
It's just a matter of time for the Vegas building.
Reno may hang in there for a few years, but their time is coming as well.
Too many poor decisions have been made by upper management in this company and yet they keep hiring more VPs and vice VPs ...what a joke.
A sinking ship
I have the same feeling that the Las Vegas office will eventually close. They are leasing the building so all they need to do is pay off the lease termination penalties and they will be done.
Several huge rounds of layoffs in 2017. The latest layoff affected around 45 people.
Employee morale is at an all-time low. People are resigning in droves. Most of the top-talent has left the organization and went on to our competitors.
