Oooh, oooh, Justin Moore is playing a concert soon. Is he at least cooler than Luke?
a bridge 32 too far
Even though he had Summit pricing, for any of you that think he actually paid for what he wore of ours....that's adorable.
Luke Bryan is a good choice if you are trying to reach Women 18-32.
Not exactly our target demographic
To think that Cabelas has any "advertising people" or any people that know what they are doing in marketing is quite funny. Of all the departments in that company, marketing was the biggest joke by far. Had NO idea what they were doing and skated by with crap catalogs, among other crap marketing stuff. The "events" in the stores were laughable as well...that is coming from an actual customer.
Maybe his endorsements did drive quite a bit more business than anyone realizes. How bad would sales have been if Cabela's did not have his star power to fall back on? His return on investment may have been huge especially wearing all the free stuff he received and all the "Legendary" products he receives summit discounts on. He is fortunate to have been in the right place at the right time.
I am certain that someone, somewhere in Cabela's land s putting some lipstick on the pig to make it appear to be better than it is. It is all in the spin. That is what advertising people do.
That sounds about right for the marketing dept. But marketing and counting anything...haha...that's funny
If I remember correctly, Cabela's marketing department created a position that all they had to do was follow Luke around and count how many times he endorsed Cabela's.
I like country music, but the trash they're churning out these days is not country...that includes LB, JA, EC, etc...
I can't stand country music! In fact if a store is playing good old 70's rock and roll music, I tend to spend more time in the store and spend a lot more money. It just puts me in a great mood. If Luke Bryan is playing, Or any other country music at all, I'm out of there!
I can tell you he was a complete jerk every time he was in the store while in town for one of his concerts. Thinking everyone should cater to his every need...and his stupid cheesy smile...please.
And, give me a break...he gets summit pricing...something it takes us 7 years of working to get...like he really needs it.
Anyway, summit pricing will probably soon be a thing of the past.
Brought Cabela’s business - what a joke, the pope couldn’t have brought anyone to Cabela’s - who wants to spend money with a company that is tanking, not smart customers. Oh, it’s his fault - get a life, we had the worst stores in the industry, the most disrespectful employees and a joke for leadership - oh but we did have tractors Gee, I’ll take a box of shells and a tractor - oh, sorry that is out of stock, too
First if all, learn to use a comma and a question mark. If that is indeed a statement, it's on par with a second grader.
Second of all, what the hell does that have to do with anything? What new business has he brought to Cabelas? They paid top dollar for his "Services" and they still tanked and sales dropped every year that LB was on the payroll. I never heard him advocate for Cabelas so it was a total waste of money...but I guess that was par for the course with that company.
Have you been to his farm in Tennessee no didn’t think so.. how about his shed. And the farm house. Again didn’t think so your house is probably set up better but that is his real life
Yeah...you would look like a tool showing to a hunting spot in that truck
Yeah, my buddies aren't going to rib me for buying a Luke Bryan truck...No not at all.
Pleeze
Yeah, I want to buy a truck that is designed in a way that it will kill all re-sale value. Uh Huh.
How does he live the lifestyle he's a multi-millionaire, tours the country, stays in 5 start hotels and hunts private ranches. Yeah real relate-able.
Huntin', fishin', lovin' every pay
Great idea. He lives the lifestyle and understands the power of branding
