OP, that's nothing. I'm 110% sure Qualcomm is done. The only thing is, nobody cares because everybody with half a brain or ability to utter a proper sentence has already left.

You Q guys are funny. As late as last week we had obvious trolls from Qualcomm over at the Intel board, telling us how fcked we are with fatso Murthy. Now you have people here saying how he is responsible for our... uh... success.
Fact is: Nothing changed after Murthy. Nothing. Zero. I don‘t know if he is realigning Intel‘s strategy or some sh-- like that, but there is nothing to be felt in terms of work processes, management style, etc.
Even if Murthy were the golden boy you think he is, what do you think how long it takes for a manager‘s impact to be felt? You think he just waves his magic wand, and everything changes overnight? Do you actually work at Q? Because I doubt anyone working at a tech company could be so naive.
Rake Receiver will live forever. Q will live forever.
You idiots that think MR is killing it at Intel don't know jack. Intel is doing well because of their server division, not client, not mobile, not IOT. MR does not run and has nothing to do with server. MR was and still is a blowhard at Intel. He has NO appreciation for the work being done; his mode of operation is to yell scream, and bang on the table, a complete jerk with NO respect for people and NO vision. That said, Q has a bunch of clueless SVP and VP like KK running our engineering groups all lead by a low drive senior exec JT (the worst of the worst). Agree Q is in bad shape but MR is not the answer.
Best way to describe anyone who complained about MR at QCOM is to use a Harry S. Truman quote, "I didn't give anyone hell. I just told them the truth and they thought it was hell." MR told the truth about the products and engineering progress. I'm sure a few execs would like a do over on the MR move... He's killing it at Intel!
People on this site were BS'ing MR before he left. Said he was the worst of the worst.
All the innovative SVP's & VP have either left or retired. Now we are left with arrogance, incompetance, xss kissers, and backstabbers. Very depressing.
Let the facts speak for themselves. After MR left Q, Intel started going up and Q started its downward spiral. Coincidence? Perhaps, and a fantastic one at that.
Or more likely CA, SM, JT and their cronies are no match to MR's capabilities, strategic thinking and execution. Q will keep spiraling unless the upper management (incompetent SVPs and above) is completely cleaned up. Maybe bring MR or Sanjay back to do the cleaning
No matter how much you want to believe it, Murthy has had nearly zero to do with this.
Never rule out a capable and smart engineering executive with a passion for what he does, and an even greater passion for revenge. Go MR! Buy Q and lay off all of these bozos
One year ago, we were 100% sure that Intel was just about to kill of their mobile business. Now we‘re 100% sure that Intel is going to kill off our mobile business. Crazy, ain‘t it?
Finally we can get rid of the chip division and get back to the right stuff.
Settle down. Just a rumor
Don't worry guys. We are the bestest company with bester engineers and besterer management.
Tenth floor sent me here to cheer you up. You must continue to work harder and harder for less money so our key execs can make their fat and happy retirement in beautiful San Diego. Three cheers for our bestest engineers working hard for little money! Hip hip hip!!
P.S. yeah layoffs are coming. Sorry about that but we must save money to pay our execs not only in retirement but while they are pretending to work too. Hip hip hip!!! Cheer up
Years of arrogance by the current executive management and their stupid decisions on business, technology and people management finally showing up on the results. Good job, guys. Keep it up!
Not a good company unless all bad management is removed
Intel almost 3x as big as Q in terms of market cap. Murthy will swallow the Q whole
I guess that's what happens when you push one of your co-presidents of the chip division who happens to be one of your smartest and most capable engineering executives to a competitors arms, ergo Intel.
Will be Good company, will be smaller.
