Citrix Troubles

You know a company is in big trouble when engineers start leaving without lining a replacement job first. Look around you...

Just found out that one of the best developers in my team (with Citrix patents) and an important contributor to one of the Citrix Cloud Services is leaving this week and going to a competitor.

What you missed, and the most important part, is: "leaving without lining a replacement job first.".

Even with high turnover, first you find a new job, then leave the current one...

...if you leave your job without signing off anywhere else, means you can't take it anymore...

That's what Citrix has become (sadly).

I left on my own terms years ago, others with a skill set have already done likewise. The rest can fight for the scraps with endless layoffs from a company that has zero value or technology that anyone wants. Sorry.

Engineering field in general has a high turnover rate. Hardly a valid indicator.

Fake news. Again. There are parts of our business that struggle, but overall a great company.
