Macy's is out of touch with the truth and no one wants to listen. I have been working in for Macy's for a long time as an executive, and have witnessed the raise and fall of the company. Let's review People,Product, Presentacion and Process. people........ First of all I would like to recognized all the great Associates and Management that work hard and set the example for others to follow. "THANK YOU." Lazy Associate and Management don't stretched your head high and take this acknowledgement and think you are one of them ,like you take credit for it during our visit,rallies,management meetings . Great employee's You need to have you voice herd or we will see more layoff. Let's start off My Schedule was a huge mistake . I know you think I'm beating a dead horse. "SOMEONE UP THERE LIKES IT. STORE MANAGERS HATE IT THEY WILL NEVER TELL YOU ,BECAUSE YOU WILL BLAME THEM FOR ALL ISSUE...WAKE UP IT'S BROKEN FIX IT FAST!!!!" . Most associates love it !!! they are gone on most busy days they know how to manipulate the system. This only makes the customer upset and Management fraustrated.How can you drive business and, customer service in your department with a new associate each day, who is overwhelmed , can't offer product knowledge and is silent and, then you have a lazy associate who knows how to works the system....just a warm body in the dept. Talk about getting our customer's upset. "WOW" Here is the perfect person to greet and service them . MY Store Managers, Sales Managers and Human resources know who they are . GUESS WHAT... THEY RATHER COVER IT UP AND ACT LIKE THEY ARE WORKING ON IT. WHEN IN REALITY THEY NEED A WARM BODY TO COVER THE STORE OR THEY DON'T WANT THE ADDED WORK TO START THE PROCESS...REMEMBER EVERYONE NEEDS TO GET TOGETHER AND AGREE ON THE SOLUTION..NOT ENOUGH TIME IN THE DAY. Cheap Labor, lazy associates, untrained team and no staff is going to cause you problems in the long run. CEO, upper management, staffer, Store Manager take the challenge and walk into a busy store and run a one man show for a full day .....not a few transactions don't make the excuse you don't know how to use the register .If you care about Macy's take the time to take the register training and work the floor...You are so out of touch with reality.Good luck with the old POS system, remembering the multiplier promotions,keep fitting room clean,go backs, recovery ,Smile give great service,offer credit...overcome 3 objectives even ,if the customer is ready to let you have it ,because you are a stupid employee that at the second request should of understood. "BRING DOWN THE GREEDY INTEREST RATES AND WORK ON BETTER EMPLOYEE AND CUSTOMER LOYALTY PROGRAM. "On your lunch dream about the 10 cents raise I will have to give to my associate during their yearly review for working so hard" "Heads up most associates and Management don't know or care about fashion. Take unannounced store visit , because when we have visits associates are told to dress up...Guess what most of the time Associate and Management are a fashion mess. Give more training and set standards. " DON'T SCHEDULE BIG VISITS.....PEOPLE ON THE TOP YOU NEED TO COME IN UNANNOUNCED TO THE STORES ,SO YOU CAN REALLY SEE WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE. YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE HOW MANY CUSTOMERS ARE UNACKNOWLEDGED ON THE FLOOR DUE TO YOUR BIG VISITS. THE STORE IS OUTSIDE DOWN . MTM'S AND TEAM IGNORING CUSTOMER MESS ALL AROUND THEM. WE ARE RUNNING AROUND LIKE A CHICKEN WITHOUT A HEAD. NOT ENOUGH STAFF ,IF STAFFED THE GOOD ONE GIVE UP THEIR SCHEDULE THEY HAVE ,HAD IT CLEANING UP FOR OTHERS AND NOT BEING APPRECIATED OR ACKNOWLEDGE DURING VISITS.WHEN WE HAD DMS AND DP'S THEY SAW THIS ...AND DIDN'T CARE UNTILL THE VISIT."WOW"DO THEY KNOW HOW TO PERFORM IN FRONT OF YOU .SINCE OF URGENCY TO GIVE MAGIC CARDS ALL...FAKE!! GAME OF ALL GAMES THEY SMOOTH TALK ABOUT GOOD BUSINESS AND DISTRACTED YOU ON BAD ONES. TALK ABOUT A PLAN OF ACTION.THEY NEVER HAD TIME FOR US. THEY WOULD COME IN DAYS BEFORE A BIG VIST AND BE VERY NICE AND CONCERN ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS AND TEAM. ALSO THEY WOULD DO QUICK CTC AND PLAN EVENTS REVIEW TOP AND BOTTOM PERFORMANCE. THEY WERE READY TO PERFORM FOR YOU CEO!!! WOULD QUIZ US AND TEAM OF WHAT IS WORKING AND NOT AND ADVICE US NOT TO MENTION THE NEGATIVE. MEANWHILE WE ALL ARE WHISPERING WHEN WILL THIS ISSUE BE FIX. ALSO, ON THEIR NEXT STORE VISIT IF YOU ARE PART OF THIER CLICK AND YOU HAD GOOD BUSSINESS THEY SPEND TIME WITH YOU ,IF NOT ON THE LIST YOUR STORE MANAGER WOULD INFORM YOU ON HOW DISAPPOINTED THE DM WAS.MANY OF US WERE SO UPSET, BUT WE KNEW IF THE STORE MANAGER DIDN'T REDIRECT THE DM TELL US THEY ALSO, DIDN'T CARE" ITS SAD THAT WE LOST TRUE PEOPLE WHEN THESE DM'S and DPS WERE HAND PICKED AND PUT IN SAFE JOBS TO PREVENT LAYOFF FOR THEM . TALK ABOUT HAVING CONNENTIONS..GUESS WHAT ...WE LOST PROFESSIONAL ,HARD WORKING AND DEDICATED VERY SEASON SALES MANAGEMENT that care about Macy's.they had good scorecard ,team player AND ARE TRULY MISSED BY US AND THE STORE EMPLOYEES. "WHY DID YOU REPLACED THEM,WITH
TWO LOST SALES SUPERVISOR FOR THE PRICE OF ONE MANAGER...bring them back they made a huge difference. "Believe it or not, still not finish with the people part .
