Idiots. Houston will always headquarter the white-collar corporate oilfield players. The USA is the largest world producer, has mid-stream pipelines already in place from the Eagleford to coast and will soon export liquid, natural gas. Put down the cheetos, disconnect p--nhub, and educate yourself,
The city, in an effort to face the challenge, initiates its ZERO VISION INITIATIVE. Which unfortunately, was the same plan used to remedy the problems encountered several years ago with the two local retention resevoirs, Barker and Addicks.

After repeated attempts construction on the 290 corridor finally gets it right alleviating the massive congestion plaguing that highway for soooo mannnny years. Traffic moves freely with no congestion but the number of people commuting to work drops considerably as the fossil fuels industry now only employs a few accounts and many executives.
Doomsayers have got a big audience but if oil suppliers ever get their act together and stop cheating and with Peak oil still a few years away then get ready for one more boom. I've ridden this gravy train during its best years and aim to do so one more time despite those who think the coffin is nailed. Onwards and upwards.

HAL negotiates for free Amazon Prime incentives. Meanwhile Amazon creates natural wildlife facilty Jurassic Park at their new North Belt location powering 75% of it's daily energy needs from solar and the remaining from Tesla wunderwall batteries. Employees use battery powered motirized bicycles to move about campus employing the campus bicycle racks for the first time. Amazon also offers free battery charging for those employees choosing to commute via electric vehicle or drone.
