Thread regarding Chicago Bridge & Iron layoffs

New CEO needs to clean house completely

Corporate VPs and "blind executives" drove this company into the ground and now the are gutting everyone they can saving their buddies instead of facing the facts that they drove it into the toilet!

Chiyoda (the JV partner) on everything is clearly aware of everything which is why they are taking the lead on everything. The newest projects just started are are already 100's of millions of dollars in the whole already. Signed fabrication contracts with a Fab shop in the Middle East where CBI has never fabricated anything and has little to no visibility into the fabrication. Good job boys! Saving few pennies to spend millions more in shipping cost to the US Gulf.

Sadly the leadership is nothing more that complete amateurs trying to see what works and after it falls apart, blaming everyone but the ones that need to be held accountable.

New CEO needs to clean house completely or this company will fail even faster then its current path

Posted by @PsC0DTg-1qul, agree completely with everything stated. We need a complete overhaul, stating with management. I'm not holding my breath on it actually happening, though.

The way things are going I hear he will clean houses and at a very affordable rate, like $35/wk.

You of course won't be able to afford it even that cheap with your crappy severance.

Ditch the safety VP for starters how much money in lost bidding opportunities have we lost since all the fatalities? We are frozen out of some of the majors for at least 3 years because of that. Ditch the director of environmental and her whole worthless bunch. Nothing but circle talk and overreaching rules from them causing unneeded extra costs for operations. Those 2 have personally put operations in bad spot time and time again.
