For all you guys working in technology, your scope has always been designed in such a way that it totally removes all opportunity to have an all rounded learning. Have you liaised with customers? Have you procured your own materials and seen the entire product cycle? No... Hence killing all your chances of getting your next job outside.. halliburton is great for retirement, but as for fresh grads.. they don't give a sh-- about your career, that's the truth. I never knew how much I could learn outside until I left.

Time to give some thoughts on your career goals and make your next bold move - LEAVE HAL!!!!!!!

Hal has become a liberal left company

They were not interested in being the industry leader in the oil and gas industry

They wanted to be the leader of diversity to show the world that they care

They have replaced the working class Americans with low paid help from around the world

They have become the safe haven for le---ans, g--s and transgendered

They have become the company that has meetings about meetings and try to brainstorm with their think tank mentality, like a bunch of zombies that can't think or fend for themselves.

They have become a company of incompitent idiots

Halliburton is proof that once you let the liberals take charge of something, they will f--- it up.

EDB must be blind to let an ex Malaysian lead the department. See, most of the Engineers who are in Carrollton now are mostly from Malaysia or china.

Growing your careers was never part of our plans. The core of our business is to customise products based on customer needs. I.e. Our bread and butter is completing as much RTAs as possible. The TAMs and leads under me understand that clearly.

So if you're betting on promotion, not till we have the Budget to. And even if we do, we won't promote you guys.

The technology operates as if to be having one foot nailed to the floor. O'da-bay. A lot o legacy stuff entrenched with a protectionist mindset as a means to maintain relevance. Window of opportunity to affect a future change may well be closed and nailed shut. So many past years of ineffectual management and riding the tide may have weathered this ship as she faces yet another storm.
