Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

What's next?

They'll centralize buying to take cost out.

Prob restructure stores similar to distribution centers. Handful of managers and tons of human and robotic drones pushing product. Amazon sells just fine.

Their education is the consumer doing research. If you can afford wf you can read thus do your own research. Not so fast on store expansion. Need to make the ones now profitable. I actually could see them closing stores that canabilize and turning one into a distribution center for the other.

Don't be surprised if you wake up and now work in a warehouse seving cheap allegro coffee. And I'm sure Amazon plans to bring in their own management talent. Amazon disrupts. Not sure why all you think hey won't

Amazon's customer service s---s. If you've ever had to call their customer service : 1-206-922-0765 you know what I mean. The most recent call I made to them lasted 29 minutes, 41 seconds. A majority of the time on hold.
