Sales is the first step in this viscous cycle of failures. You can not sell a plane for 2/3 the cost, tell the customer that it will be complete in an unattainable time frame with half the manpower. God help you if you need engineering support especially at night or the weekends. This location could make money and restore the reputation of L3 but no one will stand up and give a more realistic cost, manpower and time frame bid. When this finally happens, Waco L3 will be a more formidable competitor in this business.
Couldn't agree with this more, @AdEFGj7-fbbet. I understand wanting to give competitive prices and time-frame, but there has to be some kind of a balance. Not to mention that laying people off will only contribute to getting more behind. L3 truly is stuck in vicious cycle of incompetence.
