Well they are attacking the smallest but most profitiable department. They laid off the Director of Veterans Affairs. They laod off the Welcome Center manager for VA. This is hemorrhaging

Try working in the va dept.. under new mgt fired the old director of 22 years brought in people who don't know VA. Push numbers and files all the time. Process 55 recert process 20 apps.. BLITZ hours where we have to rush thru files... turn in numbers and compete to be top performer. Wait for quality a month later to tell us our mistakes. How is that putting the veteran first. Rushing paperwork,dont care if addresses are correct, if veterans signed the apps.
Anyone still at UOP should really understand with all the changes it really is over. I am going to add that the companies who have taken things over is not known to give severance. You are better off taking the cash impact and starting over. I did and it was the best decision I ever made in my life.

So sad for those let go!! How does NH in the College of Education still have a job? They have let many people go that are valuable and left others that add no value.

Layoffs today! We lost 9 and the department next to us lost 4.
The University is a sinking ship. All they are doing is re-arranging deck chairs on the Titanic. Anyine working there should be looking for a position outside the company.
