I have been through a number of company consolidations and companies that have been bought by a competitor. One bit of advice, don't tell the new "experts" that show up how "things are done." Keep your mouth shut and listen. Even if they ask they really don't want your opinion.
It's their show! They have all the power. If you want to survive, don't argue or explain, just do what you are told.
If you can't, you will be marked as a trouble maker and marked for elimination.

I have been an employee for several years and you hate for Cabelas is getting old, the problem at times in recent times at Cabelas if you keep your mouth shut you have what it takes and if you value the company and speak up for improvement you may be labeled with a bad attitude , my director have assured me those days are gone if you come to work with the attitude you are just their to ride things out you can leave the building now,

Good advice - unfortunately, many of us did that very thing when Tommy came on board and look what it got us..... I do respect your point though if it is simply a job. Thanks for sharing
