Is there a deadline for managers to distribute the letters?

Its specific to your country. USA is this week. Rest of the world is October.
I was on PTO on friday when my manager distributed the letters. i was hoping that we will have a discussion today regarding the bonus numbers. He didn't even called me up. shall I read between the lines ?? Is my bonus screwed ??

Whether you get the letter or not won't impact whether you get the bonus. Its all locked and loaded by now. Letters were available 21st. It sounds like you have a rubbish manager.
I still didn't receive anything regarding bonus, and the payout date is supposed to be this week. Does it mean I won't be getting any bonus? I tried to ask my manager, but he didn't have time. I'm in US btw.

Got mine on Friday. Target date was 21 Sept.
Due date is the 25th. My manager delivered them Friday
