If someone has to wonder why they need to open their eyes.
Has anyone wondered why so many dislike Bartlesville and want ConocoPhillips to withdraw from there and close its's offices?
And with the constant threat of imminent layoffs having passed for at least a moment, it seems all those angry, former employees have stopped griping on here. They now have nothing to fear. Yeah, doesn't make sense does it?
If you read between the lines, there could very likely be small reorgs in various organizations even if ECO is delayed.
I agree that "immediate" would be the key word. He could say "next year" (and know full well he's talking about January). Immediate could mean so many different things (does he mean next week, next month, next year?) The man is king of vague phraseology.
Bless your kind heart whoever posted this. This type of positive messages should be showd to our CEO so that he understands our importance in Bartlesville.
Once again the frowny face biggot
Once again we see and hear Bartlesville arrogance.
You do not have a clue what you're saying.
Now that we have used communications and data center in Dallas we can perform and complete corporate services anywhere during emergencies. Bartlesville no longer has a monopoly on remote services.
October will be when the "Trimming around the edges" occurs.
RL always paints a pretty picture. AH said in 2014 we were good at $40 oil prices. 3 layoffs later that is not the truth.
The catch is the word "immediate". When we move into EC4 and centralize in March the story may be different.
He also said the dividend was safe.
Does RL not know we went from 19,200 to 11,400 employees? He says in this article 19,000 to 16,000. Laying off 40% of the company is a lot different than 15%.
