I was a past VSP gate 2014. When I left it was offered voluntarily. This 55+ layoff sounds like age discrimination IF it is true. Hang in there.

This one is over 60 and or with over 20 years in. There are key words here that Legal pushes thru to make it legal as it were.
I've only talked to people 55+ who have gotten the "offer". This company has made numerous stupid mistakes. What surprises you about this one? I think you may be projecting a higher value as well. Without the best talent this company won't make it.
It's still voluntary and it's not a 55+ layoff. That would be absolutely ridiculous. If you are assuming that Qorvo, a billion dollar company, is so stupid as to age discriminate, then you are not the sharpest tool in the shed. Please refrain from throwing out uneducated guesses.
