Trouble Lurking at Neiman Marcus Manhattan Store

I guess the real question is what will happen first, Nieman Marcus announcing bankruptcy or the opening of the Manhattan store? This is an an excerpt of the article (link to article below)

"One industry source briefed on the talks claimed the three-story, 250,000-square-foot Neiman store could see its floor space reduced by as much as 70,000 square feet — posing a worst-case scenario that could slash the store’s size by nearly a third."

Saks made the right decision not to merge with them.for the longest time Neiman thought they were superior over Saks. LOL

not even good enough for a flagship in New York...sad. while Nordstrom increased the size of theirs. Karen katz is truly pathetic and trying to save a buck
