One of Jag's minions need to go. I want to know how you are in charge of multiculturalism, and all UOP has seen you do is take photo ops. How is diversity truly being celebrated at UOP? I am still there, and I have yet to see anything done for MLK Day, Women's Month, and the list goes on. When I hear this person's fake laugh, I cringe.
Yes, Jag allegedly "resigned." I don't believe that whatsoever. Supposedly, she has another job. I need for her to take her BFF with her. Her BFF has done nothing but demean staff. Nothing is good enough for this person. Said person should have been forced to move to AZ, but was granted the opportunity to work from home. This employee needs to GO. Major gossip. No loyalty to the people that she manages.

Why are people not naming names and using initials?
It's supposed to be a secret that the Jag resigned (gave her notice) and her minions are denying the validity of it since they are all fearful that they will be let go. Also, When you have deans who know absolutely nothing about state educational regulations and licensing requirements then they hold meeting after meeting without anything ever getting accomplished. The president is the most qualified person in the institution to be doing what his job is... cut the fat... just do it faster!!

Oh, if we even have our cell phone out, we get a message. Director would walk around the room during our meetings to see if we had our phone out. If we were, we received an email from our direct supervisor admonishing us. Mind you, director spends the bulk of his work day, in his office, texting and on Facebook (via his phone).
Emails come through cell phones. We know that. This was on their personal cell phone, not the UOP work issued one. SMH.
Hahaha! Yes...they text, laugh, whisper...but heaven forbid you do that. Then you are being disrespectful. You might mess up their social hour with actual work.

RE: deans and meetings, tell me about it. What's extremely rude is how they will sit in these meetings, amongst us fellow workers, and text away on their cell phone throughout most of the meeting. Executive deans have been observed doing this. If it was work-related, it wouldn't be coming through their cell phone; it would appear as an email (typically).
21 people were let go yesterday in COB, COE, SAS, and Humanities. Too bad they were all the workers and none of the Assistant Program Deans, Program Deans, Academic Deans, or Executive Deans. Geez...they could keep all their curriculum people if they would just cut out the highly paid fat at the top. Especially since all they do is sit around in meetings talking about meetings and having more meetings.
CG resigned yesterday.
