Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

With QQQ up 130% and QCOM down 8% in the last 5 years during SteveM's tenure as COO and CEO, why hasn't the Board of Directors laid off SteveM?

Steve was warned years ago that Mav would ultimately try to destroy Q. He didn't listen.... too nice a guy.

bad stock performance is simply a conspiracy by Intel and others to attack shareholders. Murthy in the grassy knoll.

My crystal ball says Qualcomm will be acquired within 12 months by someone who really wants to grow the company.

Yes, some companies go through this before jumping high, while others go through this before falling low. Only, the latter are in the huge majority.

Weird to try to derive a positive prediction from this kind of situation like that. A company is not a ball that always bounces back after falling.

It would be the same no matter who had been the ceo. It is just bad timing. Things will turn around. Every company goes through this kind at some point before jumping high. Trust me.

stock is down because SM is offering $110 for NXPI trading at $117. Stock Market (SM) knows that SM can't close.

Stock is down mostly because of legal issues, which are not SM's fault. Revenue-wise they've been doing OK, although it is not great; they always manage to be within analysts estimates. Once lawsuits are resolved, if ever, stock should climb back up. This is what happened after China situation was resolved.
