What is your number? For those of us that are still working for Kmart or Sears we have good days and bad days. Workloads seem to always increase and help gets cut more and more. So why do we stay? You like the people you work with, loyalty to a company that doesn’t exist anymore or most likely the paycheck. Everyone that still works for this company needs to take your current yearly net salary and divide it by 365 and that is your number. If you are hourly estimate it. If that number seems small then it’s time to go look for a better number but if it’s a decent amount, everyday this company stays open that number goes right into your bank account, so if today is one of those god-awful days look at your number and say to yourself at least I have this to show for this day and maybe tomorrow will be better and your number will seem a lot better. No one is forcing us to stay. In my opinion and having the opportunity of working for other retailers. ALL RETAIL S---S, same crap different company, same crabby customers, same regional and corporate politics. So, make the most of where you’re at and know what your number is so next time you say why I’m I here, that number will tell you that you need to leave or it will tell you to put up with what you are dealing with today and tomorrow might be a better day.

I think these posts mean well but are pretty dumb. Why are you encouraging people to ride it out? You should be encouraging people to look for another job while they are still employed. If they wait until they lose their job, it will be very difficult and time-consuming to find another job especially with time gaps on the resume. The trend now is....employers don't hire the unemployed.
Don't be complacent! Be proactive with your life.
No one works 7 days a week so the 2 days you get off you still get paid your number. If you dont like your number then go find something else. All I was trying to point out is at the end of the day its a job that pays you, nothing more or less. Ride the train until it stops.
@PULgzTK-uql Bless your heart but he’s not working those hours. I’m sorry, he’s probably having an affair.
