@PQZ68xI-1ezj I give them enough of an experience where I pretend enough to care and keep my job and I think the majority that works at both Kmart/Sears feel the same. I hate that f---ing song as well to my very core. Don't tell me to be happy, if you only know what my personal life was like right now you wouldn't be super duper happy about things either.

Unless I'll be getting a huge raise, a huge bonus, my discount returned to me, and common sense changes that will save us time and headaches (such as improving the ad set), then I fail to see how I'll ever be "rewarded handsomely."

I mean, it's retail, I don't exactly expect it to ever "WOW" me as an employee, but I work my tail off for this place for really not all that much in return. Only thing keeping me there for the time being is that most of the people in my store are pretty great, far better than I've seen in prior retail work.

Stock is actually down about .50 cent a share from last month and even this week it was hitting all time lows of $5.50 a share.

"Fact- we are having a grand reopening of our Newly transformed sears store in New Jersey, this is the shape of things to come..."

More Sears are shutting down this year, one being remodeled is not going to save this company and don't tell me they have enough money to convert all Sears into this, they won't and the sales of these stores will not be that great.

He put in another 40 million for his own selfish gain. He's giving this company more of his money so that when the bankruptcy hits the courts will make sure he gets his money back, with interest.

This is probably the biggest layer of BS. I loved that someone called out on saying the Whirlpool pullout was "fake news". So where is the facts about this HUGE remodel then?! Since the OP said it was a "Fact" where's the proof?! And again, do you REALLY think this company has enough money to remodel ALL the Sears in the country that way?! You think they'll pull off a Sears Canada makeover?! Oh wait, THAT DIDN'T WORK EITHER!!!

Berkowitz isn’t selling sh@t he got off the board so after BK he could be on the board of creditors.

Eddie and Berkowitz learned from Sears Canada. Now they both control the bird and the creditors, you can’t be on both during a BK one or the other. Berkowitz also closed his fund but gave shares to the investors, most liquidate then return.

Berkowitz also major debt holder. So in essence a cancer.

@PQZ68xI-1nfn What store in Michigan was remodeled and then closed? BS - Oakland mall is getting a remodel NOW, Roseville was closed before the remodel (things being moved isn’t a remodel)

Eddie remodel stores? He should have done that years ago and won't likely do it now. His remodels might be a fresh coat of paint and some signage. But he wouldn't spend extra to replace flooring, ac systems, cash registers, leaky roofs, gross bathrooms etc unless the data shows he could make a return on his investment. He once said we could have spent 1 million each on the stores and wouldn't see a return. Instead he bought back stock which he claimed was a better investment.

One link that shows them doing a smaller Sears. Big deal...the sales they'll bring will determine if they'll have any impact at all, my view, they won't. And for the whole cheering that the stock went "up"? You f---ing kidding me?! It has not even climb back up to $7 dollars and never will. Whenever the stock takes a nose dive it never fully recovers and it will continue its downward spiral.

Your cute having a link to 1 sears store that has been redone . whoopee we in SE Michigan JUST HAD 2 sears stores completely redone and oh guess what as soon as they were completed they were closed as a sears store and opened up with other stores in them and not a single sears product left in the building after liquidation was completed, Big deal it will likely be closed soon for the next retail to move in.

I watched the video of the new transformed Sears store in New Jersey. My question is, why are there so many empty peg hooks along the back wall in the hardware department? Is that part of the new slimmed-down look they were trying to achieve?

Hey P-daddy...f you! The computers in Auto are running on Windows 2008. Our tire machines are outdated. We can't handle run flat tires. The "One Stop" doesn't communicate with the computers so we spend all day linking the results. We have 4 techs to cover 7 days. We turn away more business than we accept because of the lack of techs. Many days, the phones don't work. Don't even ask about the A/C. We have the most expensive batteries in the business and they are terrible. We do about 3 warranty exchanges everyday. Oh.....and I make $7 an hour. F you and F Sears!

I work at HE, last month Eddie flew in as we made the hard decisions on the last round of closings for the year. I watched as he loosened his tie and starred at the numbers, watched as he wiped tears from his eyes, heard him mumble “that’s our family we’re letting go...”

The man is doing everything he can to save this place. Why don’t more of you ingrates see that?

Fact-stock is up 19% since everyone found out we got rid of that cancer Berkowitz and 8% today after the news of our grand re-opening and the continuation of our transformation plan hit the press.

Fact- same store sales of newly remodeled locations are up. People like the new Sears!

Fact - online performance is up as a result of our strategic alliance with Amazon and Kenmore, two American Icons.

Fact- the money has been used to sustain us as we transform. While I understand it may be a difficult transformation for many in our family, ultimately it is necessary to give our customers the “WOW” experience they want, deserve and what will allow us to grow in the future.

Many of you on this site behave like children on a journey “are we there yet, are we there yet...” no children we are not there yet, but we are making progress. Those of you who stay will be rewarded handsomely for your efforts.

OMG OMG OMG I just fell off my chair , this is the most worthless post I have ever seen on this site yet .. sears is doing so great that Bruce up and quits the company. We had to take the company to court to continue to send us tools... Now whirlpool jumps ship ..... We as a company have debts that are due in a couple months at a extremely high rate of 11% YEA WE ARE DOING GREAT. BAHAAAAA

Fact the stock is down 7% in the last 30 days Down 25% last 90 days and down 43% in the last year The CEO did not pledge 40 million he loaned it at 11 % interest. Another fact same store sales are down by 50% from last year as he has sold off one asset after another milking the company through debt. Where is all the money from the assets ? Where did the 15 billion dollars of cash burn go ? If Bruce claimed Sears Canada was worth $7 a share and its worth is only a penny what is Sears USA worth ? Fact SHLD is 140% debt to worth.

They owe 2 billion dollars in debt due in 12 months. How in the heck can they remodel all stores in the next 18-24 months.
