We’ve been told my our Club Manager in that all member facing positions (should) be secure within our club but our behind the scenes positions aren’t 100% secure. They have already done away with PTC, Accounting, multiple team leads, and receiving!

How many people that lost there job are going to 20 plus year associates lunch tomorrow? What a slap in the face. IT SHOULD BE BOYCOTT to speak for us that don't have a job. WHO IN THERE RIGHT MIND CAN FEEL RIGHT GOING
there is a pilot program going on if I remember correctly it’s the day stocking pilot team that is leading it. A detail of it is there are two shifts 2:30p-11p and 4a-12:30p. Not sure exactly who does what on those shifts. Club is closed 11pm-4am. Deliveries of trucks DC for example have a window say 4a-7a to show up and be unloaded immediately. Not a rumor. It’s a test, it either works or it doesn’t. But the company wants it to work obviously it it benefits more than not.
I see a lot of people posting things on here that have no clue as to what will happen in January. They have only cut out the accounting team lead position in clubs and dropping the other associates in that area to part time and installing money machines. As for do away with any other positions or the night manager and night stocking changes is all rumors. Anyone who works at Sam’s Club knows it is impossible to stock the stores during the day. So stop listening to the rumors
They won't tell you what market because it's not true. Misleading info. First they say there manager says behind scenes people are not 100% secure then they say there accounting, ptc, teamleads and receiving got let go. You can't have both so which is it?

Is your club a test club for no overnight shift? If so, please explain how that works.
What state and Market are you from where they have gotten rid of the PTC, Receiving and several lead positions?
