I watched him in action for 18 years. Fortunately, I never worked for him as he could be pretty mean. He had the type of persona that I saw at other E&C’s, such as Kellogg, FW and a Jacobs, but was mostly absent from CB&I. That is one of the reasons that I liked working at CB&I so much. I once saw him lay off several people just before Christmas. Sometimes, you need men like him to get an organization in gear, but he went way overboard in his tough approach to his reports.

Maybe some 'departed' employees who were victims to this guy will be invited back. Lost some good ones.

"He loved CB&I" past tense. Sure he did because Cbi paid him millions of dollars every year. Now he's like a spurned mistress. Watch the hatred flow.

He loved CBI. It was the people he didn't care for.

"Celebrates"? Yea there was a whole lot of partying 4 weeks ago.

Chubs is being forced out because he was a terrible leader who made bad decisions and lost the respect of his team. His personality made it so people had to work "around" him, which was only more difficult because of his girth.

The only people who don't enjoy a good body shaming are fat people. To you I say tsk tsk put the twinkies back on the shelf.

Our society is one that celebrates when a person's career is terminated. Regardless of your opinion of 'him', he loved CBI, even if he made some poor decisions along the way.

However, SHAME on anyone who body shames.

I'm hearing FS may be in jeopardy. This was a major shock to a lot of people. Some are elated, and some are not. ALL of FB is wondering what the future holds.

Body shaming is always amusing and appropriate. Here it is being used as a holistic attack on a notoriously obnoxious individual. It is not an attack because he is fat. Last I saw he was still pretty tubby.

Apparently you haven't seen him in a long time. Not bloated at all, in fact pretty trim.

Regardless of your personal feelings, body shaming is unacceptable.

The company is making changes and evolving. Good for some, not so goid for others.
