He was not one dimensional. He was good and bad. We all are. But on balance did the bad outweigh the good? Yes. The good. He made money for cbi. He was smart, decisive, competitive. He kept his people in line sometimes using his very sharp elbows.
The bad. He was really, really fat.

Last comment very true. A lot of people point to FS making money hand over fist at the expense of other business units, but the "powers that be", i.e. upper management, allowed this to continue. They also allowed the complete mismanagement of materials, complete and utter lack of cost forecasting, on and on and on.
From my understanding, he wasn't well, which contributed to his weight. However, many feel he lacked any emotion as well. I can assure you, what he did was equally shared by the powers that be.

We're all a penstroke away from the unemployment line. This is what everyday will bring until it's your turn. Nobody will be handing out bonuses any time soon. It will only be bad news. Every day. The best you can hope for is for us that things don't get worse.
