after years of store closers leaving at 10pm. the new store mo--n manager now telling workers they do not leave until 11pm. A fantastic plan to have the staff heading to the doors. Good job Bryan.
There is a 2018 class action suit forming now bc of the Lowe’s misappropriation of 401k funds.
Lowes used to be a great company to work for but now it's all politics. I destroyed my body for Lowes and gave them all of me. When we failed EOS I was only mgr that the staff called a go to mgr and that I followed thru. But the new store mgr and I did not get along. So I was laid off and every female mgr except his "female friend " was let go too. Talk about s-xist. Nobody caught it, and that store is run by a man that has no idea what he is doing but can talk a good game. Whatever happened to hard work being the reason for advancement? Now at Lowes it's how well you talk the talk. I would never work there again, or advise anyone else to work there. I dont have to say anything about not shopping there because all I hear is complaining about never being able to get competent help, and that's if they can even find anyone
Lowe's is a b---s--- company all the way across America. Knob Lick could care less about the people that REALLY work their asses off in the stores. He needs to be voted out by the stock holders if they value their money. Lowe's was a good place to work at one time but not anymore. THEY S---!!!!!

I punch in on time and leave when I should. I do as little as I can cause as the person below said. You give 110% or 0% you are a number. With that thinking why care about it?? I enjoy collecting this paycheck.
You do realize your talking retail environment. From the CEO down its retail. Your just a number at Lowes. If you give 110% or 0% your just a number. You choose where you work and if you don't like it leave. But stop speculating layoffs and driving bad rumors. I worked at Lowes for 14 years and have seen many changes. But at the end of the day I don't care if your a district manager or and FSA your in a retail position in a retail company. Just about anyone in the world could do your job or your bosses job at Lowes. So just except where you work or move on. And in 20 years maybe sooner Amazon will own the world of retail because companies like Lowes will be so far behind on innovation they will not recover. Lowes tries to compete against Amazon. Like the purchase of the fail a-- ATG. This company is nothing but an online dinosaur with outdated technology. Lowes sales maybe decent for 2017 but the housing market is strong. Just wait to every thing slows down and because not so inflated. Lowes is a sinking ship lets see if the captain goes down with the ship in a few years or rises to the occasion and gets his head out of his a-- and saves the company.
I used to work for Lowes and I can tell you that they might as well go bye bye you have a CEO who is out of times with how business works now plus he is pissed that his pay is down and he wants to get rid of full time people and csas so he can make the company profitable but without the people to work these stores customers will go someplace else so technically it is his fault and the shareholders.

There are currently over 2600 CSA 5 associates that are do to be cut January 28th 2018. If they do not find a permanent job, with most likely 30% paycut, then they will be let go... Not a rumor... 100% truth... They were given a year to find a job, and if they could't, then they would be let go... That total of 2600 was as of December 28th, 2017.. They are former department managers with years of experience, but most are on the higher end of the payscale, which Lowe's is trying to replace with part timers at minimum wage and no experience..
Agree that Niblocks is a piece of work. He’s leading Lowes to a place thats Hotter than Hell. Heres hoping when he passed that his judgement will be like Hitlers. A pineapple shoved up his bum repeatedly.
And the favoritism in cooporate reaks rampant in big cooporations if they dont like you than youll get overlooked.
Heres praying that judegement comes soon enough for them.

Here is what is coming.... First ... Yes I' was one of the department managers and the first layoff round but since my leadership is exceptional and I'm continue operating like a manager, keep my involvement on customer care, complaints, reports, training, team work even, all the lazy service managers selected by the lazy asm that is delegated by the lazy store manager to make the decision of what of his friends he wants to keep on the new positions no in base on performance but in grade on friendship. Any way the make me specialist immediately but in reality I'm work and operate as a Asm that actually is not lazy, help all areas, teach, couching and engage everyone and explain the changes are necessary but Lowe's still a good company and we can trust corporate leaders and store leaders because their actions are going to take us to a different level. Well today is over, I'm out no notice provided. Is done no more coolaid make up number, no more be fake and oorporate puppet. The show is over, no more secret meetings to plan the next round of layoffs, the moral was so bad that market skip Eos survey and also store meeting, now next movement star and they hire 2 part Time per department and even more with the excuse of better coverage on more customer service... Bla bla bla, they new hires replace all specialist early next year, and store management sign confidential agreements to protect this information. Even when they took the time to denied the rumors they did because the effect on the stock price. But plan in on place and all store managers acting like they don't go out on the floor and the hide on their offices. Same as the Asm's and new service and support managers... Our C.E.O is the worse liar on history of retail and he designed the entire structure of the company to be lead by bunch of liars cold blood faces like him. Keep telling people that every move is to evolve, rather that to cover the Lack of performance of the company stock. Sorry for all the ones that stay and dedicate years with the and proud of service the customer's better, Lowe's does not care. You think you going to success ....
