I never knew that executives can be so sneaky and will lie so much? Is that normal? They do tell you one thing and then to hit you with something else - the mood is pretty bad here in Duluth.

There is a saying "what comes around...goes around". Would never want to be in a managerial position at NCR. Do Not Get Comfortable. You may be here today...gone tomorrow. Managers get transformed too.
Advice would be learn as much as you can. What you learn, keep to yourself. When you are walked out...take the knowledge with you! That is when your value is felt.
Automation is not infallible. When asked to interview a department head, probe into their integrity and ethical behavior. A good manager will value their employees and fight for them if warranted. However, a manager with little integrity, "plays the game", demonstrates unethical practices is the type of manager NCR loves to employ...After all they are "bendable" as subordinates are expendable. Read between the lines on this! Stay AWAY!!!!!!! Unless they bring ALL Positions back to the USA!!!! It is then and only then that NCR "might" regain some semblance of respect!...or do they care?
That was the new norm while I was working there. Did you know the center of excellence was to be built in South Carolina? They moved a bunch of folks there. Then changed there mind and built it in peach tree city.
