Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

I work in Selmer Tennessee at GE. We will be ABB employees next year. I hear that they do not lay off as many as GE but also, you cannot hide. I hear that they tend to close a lot of places. We'll see what happens - as always, people are anxious and there is a ton of uncertaininty here.
