Thread regarding General Motors layoffs

More scale-backs, more layoffs at General Motors

It seems recovery is a forgone conclusion by now. Production at Detroit sedan assembly plant is being scaled back, to the tune of 200 lost jobs. Anybody knows what kind of a severance package will be offered to those being let go?

@hwy it's popping and there will be a big boom once it happens.

There are trillions of dollars in auto loans, everyone is buying 50K trucks nowadays - how does that make sense?

Did people lose their minds/
