Anyone have any insight on Bornstein was fired? It is very odd to pay him $6M in July to stay, describe him as key to the turn around then he leaves weeks later.

This A$$ clown should have been told to pack his SH_T ten years ago. Why did they give him a severance package? Non-compete for one year of salary ...who the hell would hire this joker? GE is the joke of the DOW. In fact, they should be pulled from the NYSE exchange. Does GE represent growth? Companies get tossed all the time ...GE is not an innovator they are an intimidator. How about the company stop buying companies, raping their benefit plans and then spinning them off after they are gutted. Oh, wait GE pays 1% tax! What does this company really think they are doing for society? The financial world has figured their games and now the board and CEO are getting questioned on every stupid move they make. The beauty of all these recent corporate cuts in cars, jets. Once they are gone ,they NEVER come back. So, I'l ask the question E-bands is it a great company to work for now?

more like he was told to resign and take the severance package or else he would be fired. When you fire someone you don't give them a severance package and pay bonuses that are typically paid at year end.
