My dad worked for GE for 38 years . Worked for the same GE and retired .
I currently have 41 years with GE , been able to dodge business sale off and lay offs . I worked for GE Plastics , GE Appliances , GE Lighting , GE Industrial Solution , GE Energy Management and now Energy Connections. Hopefully I can hold out until I retire ... long road..
Hope is not a strategy, nor is it a good plan at this point. Prepare for the worst.
38 years! Took care of my family/ saw lot of the world and U.S & great people.. out long time now and have seen the deterioration of the GE name..It saddens me and I blame it on mis- Management for last 2 decades including Welch.. Tangled in Globalization & greed and there you go!!
Still miss the people-great memories!
