Given how things are developing we can be 100% certain that both Tyson and Hillshire will be having some significant layoffs in 2018. I have no specific insider informaion on this but wanted to see if posters here would want to specualate about the cuts, share any rumors that they might have heard.
What are your thoughts?

Tyson will have layoffs. They have to pay for a new multi million dollar corporate office building as well as several new mega plants.
Tyson will. Hillshire likely won't. They have to keep their expensive rent up. No one comes to visit a retail company. You're customers are in Kroger's, Walmart, Hy-Vee, etc.. The bottom line is more important than fancy office furniture. What you do as a person is more definitive than how you look every day. Your actions count for more than how colorful your socks are.
