I might as well start a thread on this right now. It seems fiarily certain that we'll have another round of layoffs in December, wanted to see what you guys think. I really do not know if I can handle all of this any more - please chime in with any details you have - thank you!!!!

There were people who were let go mid-December, but they had a 60-days notice in advance that they would be laid off.
And you miss the point about management being untrustworthy. DH out and and out lied to us saying no layoffs this year. So to trust others now when they say no layoffs in December is being naive considering their track record since 2015.
As for understanding the need to change ... um no, keep telling yourself this was done for the long term health of the company and if we don't change there won't be a company. Take a look at all their decisions and what they are actually doing and have done over the past 2 plus years instead of blindly believing in some PR talking points statement that DH puts out. It is all short term about maximizing stock holder value for Elliot and justify their own salaries not about needed change to stabilize the company or make it viable in the long term. Or do you think that KT performance really justified with him walking away with $32 million.
And there were never any layoffs before KT or DH were CEO? The world has changed significantly since MarkT was at the helm - - if the company doesn't change there will be no company, long term. You must endeavor to understand the need to change.
DH said no layoffs this year a couple a months ago. So yeah, go ahead and trust management at Raleigh and Bangalore when why they in all hands now that there won't be anymore layoffs / no layoffs in December. Because after all they have been -so- trustworthy since 2015 and Mark T.'s ousting.
This rumor was squashed during a team all hands by a Sr. Director.
Anyone who knows sales and particularly Citrix sales knows why this is BS.
Let’s say there are more early next year. If your still there quit b--ching and consider this a safety net severance and use this time to find somewhere else to go.
The press release today clearly indicates more layoffs to come. Anyone who believes otherwise will learn the hard way. The goal right now is to get employees back focused and on the grind. Employees can't perform if they think layoff are coming - right?

By the time the EMEA redundancy processes have been completed it will be December. That is when people impacted October 4th in EMEA will officially get laid off. This is likely where the 2 rounds of layoff rumours has come from.
There will be FY 2018 layoffs - sales restructuring. Inside sales and commercial will bear the brunt.
CEO also said no layoffs this year. so...??? Also, I would not doubt that "no December layoffs" just means that we will see them in Q1 instead.
CEO said there would be no layoffs at all. But, there you have it.
