Is this just going to be the culling of those who have been with the company the longest and have higher salaries, or is there an actual criteria that takes performance into account to determine who goes and who stays? Any goodhearted managers willing to part with that information? Good luck to all!

we lost several sr ppl who were completely blindsided. this was just a numbers game to kill off long time and high earning ppl.
I was a manager when the last layoffs happened in 2015. They were definitely targeted. We did a skills/risk assessment of every employee and the VPs/Directors made conscious choices about who to keep and not. I suspect it is the same here. We always used layoffs to get rid of dead weight, and I was on the inside of 2 of them.
Both managers and directors from the sales team I am apart of have been notified of this meeting
It seems to be targeted. Those which can be offshored will be, those who are not liked by the managers or directors will also be chosen. Might also be a direct correlation to performance reviews.
This has been my experience in the office I am in.
yes this please! if anybody knows it'd be really good to know this.
