I’m not in any of those departments and have been a top performer every year I’ve been here and I got an invite today as did a colleague of mine. It could be anyone...
I heard 20 to 24% by 2018 because Elliott Group is making a move in Q2 2018 - either make money and get out OR sell the company...they have not decided which option yet

It’s 15% I heard from someone that has to know ahead of time.
Most of those teams were so bloated with people that do nothing all day that they can’t be shocked. I’m shocked it didn’t come sooner for many of them.

However, Apart from the financial reasons for layoffs, it's also an opportune time to rid departments of unwanted employees.
