I am extremely insulted that an email didn't go out at least the day before the layoffs.

Kirill left because he had our backs, left with dignity (and a chunk of their money). Henshall is a turncoat! Loyalty to Elliott Group over Citrix. Lied to us all. Didn't have to say any of the lies, but chose to do so. Turncoat. I hope we don't have to see his face at HQ.

Lied at his first all hands about no layoffs.

IT is at about 50% gone right now and still climbing. You can't support an enterprise this size for very long on a skeleton crew. It's painfully obvious the board is positioning the company for a sale. They will be selling off product lines for certain to help facilitate this. The days of Citrix are truly numbered.

Now we all know that DH is posting on this board using the name ebitdaMan. Only a weasel would do such a low class thing...

He's just the hatchet man. There will be a new CEO soon.

I don't work at Citrix anymore, so I wouldn't have gotten that memo...but yeah if that's what he said then it's pretty bad form by DH.

Nope, he bare face lied about there being no big lay off planned. Then didn’t even have the balls to send out an email the night before saying how sorry he was or how hard the decision had been.

Very few will respect him from now on.

There's another way to look at this (potentially).

Remember earlier this year when the Private Equity firms all put in their bids to buy the company, and it didn't happen? Maybe Henshall fought against the PE sale, but could only convince the Board if he agreed to do big cost reduction? (It's likely that KT left over this disagreement).

Today is no picnic, but the layoffs following a PE sale would have been far worse than what's happening today...

A perfect ceo would not have gutted the company. He’s just a hatchet man with a discredited management philosophy.
