Seeing that you're replying in a thread from over 4 years ago, I assume everyone on the Sharefile team that got laid off has gotten over it by now.

Sad about many Sharefile people getting laid off, but for those that are staying it seems like it is the only place under CSG that has a possible future. They’re rebuilding and setting up for success in the future as an independent company. Lean and mean. I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets snatched by a top competitor of their stack. Groove on brothers and sisters. Groove on.

Well the day is over and so is the bloodbath in sharefile. Lost some good ppl today. Some I knew personally and others whom I used to see everyday. I wish all those who left all the best in their new ventures. Hope to see you guys recover from this soon, you guys won't be forgotten. For people still here, I would like say it was good to see sympathy and concern for the people leaving. In this time of crisis may be Citrix/sharefile has lost its old culture but it was good to see pure humanity here. Don't want to comment on what lies ahead but like ppl leaving, we will figure this one out. (please refrain from posting names, this is not a place to bring out personal grudges, atleast not at a time when ppl are still upset about departures)

for remaining smb employees, it may not have hit all of them now but it willl come back a few months down the road to get the rest of them. Citrix is not interested in smb anything and if that is your background, and you are still here after this week, then you're life at Citrix is about to get interesting and rocky. Jumping the ship as soon as I can so I can avoid round two next year. I think I've watched my last layoff here that I have been willing to stress over. The company isn't anything other than a paycheck at this point and doing work with no passion has lost its luster for that paycheck.

Sharefile/Rightsig/Podio got hammered, it was a bloodbath in Raleigh and SB. Sales, support, success, facilities, dev, and pm all affected to some degree...but SMB sales took the brunt.

SF taking the largest hit. Not sure of the numbers but I just had a meeting with two employees and both are gone on my follow up email.
