I left Citrix in June. After being there for a year- it felt like 10 years. I was emotionally and physically exhausted. We worked from 8am to 6:30 sometimes 7pm. I wasnt valued as an employee, they only cared about the bottom line. I looked for jobs knowing I needed one before I left and thankfully I got one at the end of June. I am very sad for all my friends and fellow Citrites who I love dearly who lost their jobs today. I am very glad I got out when I did.

I had just resigned and my last day is this week. Wish I could have gotten a severance before getting into my lifeboat.
Citrix was a great company to work for. Job stability, work life balance. So disappointed of what's become of it.
FYI: Patting yourself on the back for getting out while people are getting laid off is bad form. You win. Happy?
It was not like this during my tenure (2002 to 2008)
That's what you get when private equity runs the show.
Good for you.
