Getting hit hard this morning. My group has been decimated. Lots of old timers being let go.

With so many losses in IT, have next steps become known today? Fewer services, outsourcing, shadow IT? Technical work for company of this size will be hard to manage even with saas systems
This is not to put the company for sale. We were not bought out this year because it costs to much. The layoffs will only increase the stock price making it more expensive. That will not make it easier to buy Citrix.
IT at about 50% right now....and they are STILL sending invites/calling. It's obvious the company is being put into a place for sale.
Yesterday when people rumored 20-24% cuts, I was first to call BS - After leaving FTL with my white envelope, I notice more people with same envelopes than without. So i do believe NOW that the 20--24% could be accurate.
24% in IT or all groups cumulative?
Division? Location?
Been hearing talk of 24% company-wide cuts.
