So, the "new" hr manager came in and immediately my corporate rotation became simply a guideline and I previously closed 5x a month and now 2-3x that. Because the store will not hire additional employees, I guess the coverage for the store for my department is on me. I am scheduled around the part-timers and I seldom ever open any more, even though there is oftentimes an issue with regard to irp's, returns and freight and there is always much (or all) of each, waiting for me. Needless to say, zoning does not get done in that case, nor do the worklists the service managers create for me. Whose idea was it anyway to eliminate all the department managers and still act like we are fully staffed and presumably work all of us to death or piss us off so we leave? Also, in the past I took unpaid time off to complement my vacation and holiday time but suddenly, according to the hr, I cannot take time off if I am out of paid time off. No more unpaid time off. Wanted top know if any of this is happening in your stores and where I can go to complain. The regional hr manager and her supervisor are no better and they all cover for each other, so how high up should/could I go?
I do not expect any of this to he resolved, but I think much of this should not go on without some sort of response.
