Dril quip is losing another lead man from maintenance. All because of 10% pay cut and the newly appointed foreman for maintenance. The foreman that hits company pickup truck (brown) with the golf cart without reporting it to bosses or hse department. Even though thier are multiple witnesses from fab shop now do you call that fair no investigation or nothing. That is what this maintenance department is about unfair.The people that run the department. Don't care what anyone else says fact is fact the foreman is a damn control freak. He doesn't have control at home so he feels like a boss here. Great job we are about to lose a great maintenance lead man he should have been appointed fore man.

But if it happened to anyone else they would have been terminated for not reporting incident. It's does sound like a unfair labor act. I agree with policy is policy for everyone else but him.

No matter if company values him or not POLICY IS POLICY no matter who you are. But dril quip is more concern about Safty glasses and face shields but real safty concerns they do not want to hear about it. That makes them highly educated idiots.

It sounds like the company values this man. When you can walk on water, you can judge. Everyone makes mistakes, thank God we work for a company that forgives.
Question how is it lashing out when it's fact and his boss knew he hit the vehicle he didn't get reprimanded for his actions instead he got promoted only at dril quip. It's hard to believe this company is public.
even so he still did not follow company policy after hitting and damaging company vehicle with golf cart so that's all it takes to get promoted
