Not interested in layoff numbers. Interested to hear if there would be a Restructure/Re-org?

Seriously, how many IT and Finance so-called managers have only 1 or 2 people reporting to them? No other company looks like this. Look at the online org chart for yourself. Those organizations are engineered to create extra supervisor jobs to protect their favorite people.
I agree with @OzQbxnv-1xqh concerning IT being way too top heavy. Look at the org chart... its on steroids.
I heard from a reliable source at lunch today that team of Boston consultant laughed one whole day after looking at layers of useless management and rationale presented to keep that structure as is.
OSBU has the same problem
What they need to do is eliminate having so many L48 supervisors who don't do anything. They also have way too many directors over in L48. Too top heavy....
They will probably have one BU in L48 and keep the assets. If you do that nothing changes For us business users. it's the other stuff that has to be updated.

One L48 BU makes no sense! What will happen to the existing BU execs (BU VPs)?
IT has way to many DIR's and MGR's.. that support the L48... when is that going to stop!!
