I heard a rumor there would be more layoffs in August. Anyone heard anything?

Correction: Local campuses are the ones that have to worry most as they're the ones who will have the more frequent but smaller layoffs. Phoenix should expect large layoffs but less frequently, especially since there isn't much space in just one of the buildings. With Iron Yard now gone, there goes the tech initiatives and more as well in the near future. Just expect to end up a shell that is sold again. I do not know how these are supposed rumors. Many people are recently no longer working there by no fault of their own, and the pattern and goals are rather clear if thought is put into it. Why would a company buy us just to make all of the same exact changes?

Our department had layoffs on 7/27 and we were told there'd be at least 2 more rounds before the end of August.
