Today, Cisco is a cube farm of PowerPoint soldiers run by managers who measure their success by how much money they waste.
On top of that equation for disaster, over the last decade, the company allowed a plethora of strangulating processes to govern activities....down to the way you drink coffee....with lids only.
The rules were written into stone without any care or understanding of the consequences.
Cisco has become a joke of a company, its amazing how inept mgmt is, but they do get lots of stock options every year. They completely missed the cloud, they should be fired!!!
Dude, your writing is superb. Entertaining, descriptive, great story telling. You should write a book, maybe call it "The Land of the Mis-Fit Toys" or something. Please keep them coming.
