Anyone else having a problem with Sears apparel mistakenly getting shipped to your Kmart store. We have had this problem for years, but usually it's just a shirt here and there. Now it's a lot more. We also have been getting random colormate home fashion items like towels, etc instead of essential home. Half the time it won't ring in the system and we have to add it. Most of these items aren't approved for sales either so they just sit around at regular price while everything around them goes on sale. Everyday we have a customer bring up some random shirt that has a regular price of $50 or something like that and ask if it's on sale. I see the sears tag and automatically know it's going to be regular price. Sometimes we just ring it for 30% off or what ever a similar item is on sale for just to get rid of it.

We once had 100 pieces of Outdoor Life long sleeve shirts cone in. They were tagged at $30. The same Northwest Territory shirts were tagged $16.99.
The softlines manager didn't know what to do, so they were rang up under department number.
That is hilarious! I remember we once received Whole Foods brand lemonade, it was really weird. We had to put the smart sense lemonade upc over the Whole Foods one so it would ring lol
When I worked at kmart we had target market pantry cheese in our cooler. Must have slipped through with receiving with a mislabel. But it was kinda funny buying target cheese at kmart.
Funny how people love to give out some random policy. Why is it that for the last decade, NO one has said this! And btw, sometimes they do ring in the system!
I suggest that you or your managers read the policy on cross-doc merchandise, these items should ether be dropped off at a sears or re tagged with a Kmart like item upc .. since it doesn't ring through the register or inventory correctly...
