Our commercial sales representative got an email 2 weeks ago saying she can not order and we will no longer carry GE. We have the same back order issues. I have begged manager to take them off the floor ( or get a definitive answer). Just don't sell GE. Thank me later.

The issue with GE is related to the company not placing orders to have stock ready to deliver. This is viewed as a cost-cutting measure. It is indeed true that GE did not sell well in the past five years in our stores.

They have been trying to spin it off as "availability issues" on Pebble. District manager said GE didn't sell so well.

Meanwhile, go to any Lowe's or Home Depot and you'll see that their appliance department is full of GE products. Ask on the availability of different GE products and I bet most, if not all, are readily available to take home or be delivered.

GE is second place in terms of sales, after Whirlpool and their other brands (Maytag, Amana, KitchenAid, JennAir).
