Also remember that 99 percent of these new hires are going into the frac crews, a position with NO future, and NO skill expected, other than learning which way to hammer a union.

Just checked my compensation history. It shows a pending focal point update. So the raise must be legit. Dunno how much, guess we will find out Tuesday.
Baker is spending that money too..... 3.5 billion goes a long way when spent wisely.
It is a good thing that they gave it away, otherwise Halliburton exec's would have just squandered it away on stupid shat
How can HAL justify a pay rise when $3.5bn was thrown down the toilet and Shell think the low oil price will never recover. If anything, there has to be a pay cut as oil service gets squeezed. No wonder this company is a mess.

Raises go into effect August 1st not last Monday. Read the corporate communication email for Pete sake. We were told last Friday at my location that we would be getting an email this week or early next week communicating how much ours would be.
