We are still plagued by the Best Buy idiot's. They are still in DM levels and above! The new interests are the Walmart managers. You know, the people that were the main cause of dozens of law suits at Walmart. We seem to do nothing but hire management who know nothing but how to read graphs and charts. Even the job description for GM says that auto part or automotive experience is helpful, but NOT REQUIRED! Even our CEO came from Pepsi! They hire young, inexperienced college brats and give them titles like, "Merchandise Scientists". We even have to call somebody in India for assistance. Just send the store the pre-printed scripts they use and we will figure out our own issues. Auto Part International, another AAP interest, were secretly placed in the Cincinnati area by AAP. Not even informing the local management of what was going on. Commercial customer base was collected from stores and slid across a table to API so they could go after the local store's commercial customers. Which they did with more parts and drivers. All the while, the store are told that they can not have more drivers, parts are called back by the hundreds each week and any "Deals" that were being offered locally to commercial customers had to stop. No more price matching in the black "X" for commercial accounts. BUT, API can still price match and offer any deals that were previously offered by the AAP store. We even have to compete with our own website. All the while, being told that we are not allowed to price match our own website. GM's that spend more time out of the store than in the store, on personal phone calls, eating lunch on the clock and wondering around outside, not paying any attention to how many customers are slamming the one employee they have left inside. Along with DM's that rarely come to the store. Only communicate by e-mail or telephone ONLY with the GM. Not a single employee! This company is circling the drain for sure. You even have to make sure you EXPOSE things anonymously for fear of some "belly crawling" manager, or "s--- up" employee pushing it up the ladder for violation of the "Social Media Policy". Such an awful company.
