No it isnt. It is someone external to the company who is just playing with all of us and having a laugh. It realli is beyond cruel.
I think it is a corporate plot to discredit this site and silence the minions.
@ypo. Once again why do those who you are talking to try to make you feel bad about working at Sears? I dont get it. Who, if they cared about you, would make you feel bad about having a job and making money? They might be concerned for you, but they shouldnt make fun of you.

Popcorn has always been a phony. It's been obvious since they came out and started going by that name.
Yes this site used to be helpful. I don't know if it's been invaded by children or if corporate is doing it themselves to ruin the credibility of this site, but it's working either way. I hardly ever come here anymore.
I have worked for sears now for 30 years , i used to be proud to say i work here but now i try not telling a soul i still work here ... and yes i am looking for work elsewhere ever day .. this place has become a joke and a laughingstock in most conversations
This whole site is ending up not helping associates at all and that is a true shame. The comments on here are just getting ridiculous.
We are sad because Sears and Kmart are a joke. How are they still operating?

Why on earth would anyone be "bummed?" It is great that our associates didn't lose jobs today.
No surprise, that guy with the ego has just posted junk, his/her over excited predictions fell flat (again) People who genuinely want to post helpful information do so without trying to get glory, we do it because we want to help not for attention.
