So...any word on today's big layoff???

There is nothing going on tomorrow - will be same thing different day
We will find out tomorrow I am surprise this is upper level and not store level I was expecting more firing in the lower level, but I guess not interesting to see who else they can cut on top.
You guys aren't reading it right the person from the HR said n lay offs in HE but never said there were not going to be any lay offs ... so to the HR person where are the layoffs going to be next
How do you know that you're not one that is being let go? Maybe that's why you don't know about it.

That's absolutely a lie! There will be no layoffs at HE tomorrow. (Hint: I work in HR).
Look for a lot of conference rooms all booked up at the same time - for the dreaded exit meetings. That's the biggest clue people can use to guess if it's happening or not.

Last time there was a lot of evidence of the big layoff at HE. There isn't any evidence now, that I'm aware of. Where is this intel coming from?

No, don't know what groups or positions. I imagine it will be like 5 weeks ago and be across the board. I have two contacts who both are hearing the same thing. Thai are in different divisions so I'm guessing it's true.
