Thread regarding Conduent layoffs

Layoff to low salaried employees and other side hiring contract employees with high cost

I am one of the empoyee (Software Developer) affected with layoff in India. The department where I had worked got affected worsely ( 22% cut in jobs) and with out any reason even though there are lot of works in queue and lot of openings in queue.

Top leaders saying that they want to make the Conduent Development Hub in India and actually they are cutting down developer jobs in India to reduce operation costs.

I heard news that after laying off they are ready to recurit new developer(s) as well as ready to out source the work to contractors paying Big amount Costier than 22% cut down employee salary.

it seems in top management there are people who is catching the fish making such foolish decisions.

I think Share folders of companies as well as management who is not part these team should act ASAP else they will land in big situation which can not be solved by then. These fraud people will make money and exist easily and jump to another company to catch some other fish.

This company is going to be sold off in chunks. Management is not worried about profit only about cutting costs and getting the balance sheet to look good enough to find a s---er to buy parts. Horrible!

They will not listen and work on any advice. They are least bother for their employees. Stubborn and non approachable people. They want to make money by killing the company.

  1. Ashok Vemuri is the CEO for this company. People doesn't know when the the company is going sell.

  2. layoff is happening with out any intimation(atleast 1 hr or mail communication). No job security.even your job allocator doesn't know about layoff of your's.

  3. No hikes.

  4. No benefits(any other).

  5. Performance ratings will be there but it's as per the choice of manager. No interaction with the …

You are correct, Top management making money by playing Game which should be stopped at the earliest else company will be in FUGE LOSSSSSSSSS

share folders and bord members should act effectively here.
